As the final votes are being counted from Tuesday’s primary election, one thing is clear; California voters love candidates named Hernandez. No less than five candidates with that last name will appear on the ballot in November; with three running for Congress and two for Assembly;
Jose Hernandez (Democratic) running in CD-10
John Hernandez (Democratic) running in CD-21
David R. Hernandez Jr. (No Party Preference) running in CD-29
Roger Hernandez (Democratic) running for reelection in AD-48
R. J. Hernandez Jr. (Democratic) running in AD-77
Already in office is Ed Hernandez, a State Senator who was first elected to the upper house in 2010.
