California Citizenship Day

One of those little-known California holidays, California Citizenship Day was proclaimed by Governor Pat Brown in 1965  as “an appropriate time for the reaffirmation of and rededication to, the high ideals, rights and traditions of citizenship, both in California and the nation.”

The resolution, from the book The Original Constitution of the State of California;
