Senators on Twitter

Taking a quick look at the profiles of California’s State Senators on Twitter, it was interesting to see a significant range in use and number of followers.

Of the 37 Senators with a presence on Twitter, 27 had more than 1,000 followers.

Pro Tem Kevin De Leon led the list with more than thirty thousand followers, while Senator Pan (with just over 4,000 followers) had the most tweets.

What stood out the most was that it can’t be fun to have fewer followers than @BenHueso, who hasn’t tweeted since 2010.
