Volume I includes Legislator Biographies (A-S)
Volume II contains Legislator Biographies (T-Z) as well as the membership of Assembly Policy Committees (1849-2026), the membership of Senate Policy Committees (1849-2026), a section on legislator numbering, and another of the number of bills and laws from each session (1849-2026).
Volume II also contains a list of the most recent legislators who have lived in each county. Mono County, for example, has not been home to a member of the California Legislature since Charles H. Miller served in 1902. Alpine County’s gap is even longer: its last resident legislator was Cyrus Coleman, who served in 1896.
