Just updated the biography of Assemblyman William T. Coleman to include the fact that Colemanite (a borate mineral formed through the combination of borax and ulexite) was named after Coleman.

There has been a single “Dean of the Assembly” for 81 of the last 83 years. That will end for the foreseeable future when Mike Gatto leaves in 2016.
